Back Shape Options

R Back = Rectangular Back

R Back - Between the Canes

• Designed 2-3/4"  to 3-3/8" narrower than the chair width, depending on the choice of hardware, to fit between the upright cane

R Back - Full Width

• Designed to fit in front of the upright canes
• This basic design works well with swingaway lateral thoracic supports

T Back = "T" Shaped Back

T Back - Between the Canes

• Use Spreader Bar (sold separately) to attach the lower part of the back to the frame
• This back configuration allows you to use fixed lateral supports

I Back = "I" Shaped Back

I Back - Between the Canes

Back Contour Options

Curved

• Wood is curved and the foam is typically a uniform thickness

Contoured

• Wood is flat and the contour is created by triangular shaped foam wedges on the sides of the back

Full Round Contoured

• Wood is flat and the contour is created by radiused shaped foam wedges on the sides of the back to create a uniform curve
